History of the Company

Automation Concepts and Technologies grew from a small software company in the 1980s to one of the area's largest suppliers of workstations and servers in the 1990s. Today we are a Managed Serives Provider that offers fully managed virtual servers, workstations, and firewall solutions. We also provide network, data security, and management consulting services to the SMB marketplace.

Our Founder

Automation Concepts and Technologies, Inc. was founded by Brian McCafferty in 1989. He is an experienced Project Manager, Network Engineer, and Consultant with a proven history of managing complex and difficult projects. McCafferty is experienced in large scale system design, virtualization, and Cloud Computing. With a background in Software Development, he is knowledgeable in all phases of development from requirements definition through design, development, UAT, and implementation. As a key player to the Automation Concepts team, he has excellent oral and written communication skills, which allow him to make complex technical concepts easy to understand.
