There is a lot of talk about disrupters today. These companies all have one thing in common, they leveraged technology to change their industry. This is the same way MSP’s operate. They have invested in and leveraged technology to disrupt the traditional IT Break/Fix Service Model.
In doing so, MSP’s have changed the focus from fixing broken systems and technology (with associated down time) to keeping technology running at peak performance. This eliminates down time, increases productivity and reduces staff frustration. In addition, by offering flat rate monthly service plans, they provide companies with predictable monthly expenses and cheaper overall costs once you look at the entire picture.
So, in closing, we harken back to that old adage – Penny Wise and Pound Foolish – save pennies in initial service costs but waste pounds on one-time charges, lost productivity, and unmeasured expenses.
